There will be two parts to the presentation:
Part One: Gaining clarity, and earning and building confidence: This interactive presentation covers the premise that there is nothing more important than evaluating – – or re-evaluating – – or perhaps for the first time knowing who you are and what you want. Slowing down and doing ‘the work’ is crucial before the resume and next steps can begin.
Part Two: The resume, administrative details, weekly plans, networking and research: The next segment will cover the goals, plans and implementation. When one has ‘graduated’ from Part 1, then it is time to tackle Part 2. Our speaker will share some helpful tools in a fun and light-hearted way.
Susan Ashley completed her career coaching certification in 2007. In 2009, she formed a small career services firm with offices at 95th & Antioch. Serve in Joplin Day
Depart around 8:00 am and be back around 5:00-6:00 pm.
If you are a job seeker, I know how it can feel at times like you can’t contribute much. But, you are valuable and here is an opportunity for you to make a difference in people’s lives by volunteering to go down to Joplin to serve.
Come with the Joplin Relief Group from 33Church as we make the second of many monthly trips down to help serve the people of Joplin who are recovering from the devastating tornado that hit their city on May 22. A van that can hold up to 12-15 people will be heading down there.
